Basketball Recap: Lake Quinault Comes Up Short

Lake Quinault scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a blow against the Darrington Loggers, falling 80-45. The Elks just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Lake Quinault's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Darrington, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Lake Quinault won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Concrete at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Darrington, they will square off against Mount Vernon Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Darrington has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
