Soccer Game Preview: J.F. Webb vs. Carrboro + How To Watch

J.F. Webb hasn't had much luck against Carrboro recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. J.F. Webb has given up an average of 4.4 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for J.F. Webb's offense. They came up short against Orange on Monday, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, J.F. Webb can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 456th, while Orange are ranked 111th).

Meanwhile, Carrboro gave up the first goal last Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They had just enough and edged out Cedar Ridge 2-1. The victory continues a trend for Carrboro in their matchups with Cedar Ridge: they've now won six in a row.

Benny Wittmayer and Jacob Burstein scored both of Carrboro's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.

Carrboro's win bumped their record up to 11-8-1. As for J.F. Webb, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11-1.
