Football Recap: Anthony Dixon's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Central over Bessemer City + How To Watch

After soaring to 35 points the game before, Central was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 28-7 to the Bessemer City Tigers. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Central lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Anthony Dixon, who rushed for 79 yards on only nine carries, and also picked up 37 receiving yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Central fell to 3-1. As for Bessemer City, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
