Football Game Preview: Christian Heritage Lions vs. Fannin County Rebels + How To Watch

The Christian Heritage Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Fannin County Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Fannin County will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Christian Heritage extended their winning streak to three last Friday. The Lions' defense stepped up to hand Chattooga a 38-0 shutout. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Lions just coasted through the last quarter.

Christian Heritage's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Henry Hill, who rushed for 88 yards and one score. Hill got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 50 yards. Another player making a difference was Benji Michmerhuizen, who picked up 92 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fannin County). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Armuchee 48-14. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Rebels with their most commanding win of the season.

Christian Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Fannin County, their win bumped their record up to an identical 5-3.

Christian Heritage was dealt a bruising 48-21 loss at the hands of Fannin County in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
