Softball Recap: Wheeling Park Patriots vs. Martins Ferry Purple Riders

Wheeling Park is ranked highly in their home state and on Tuesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Martins Ferry. The Patriots blew past the Purple Riders 10-4. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2025.

Harmony Bittner was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off 11 hits.
