Volleyball Recap: Saranac Comes Up Short

Saranac was the 3-1 winner over Saranac Lake when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the Red Storm on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 25-15.

Saranac Lake can attribute much of their success to Rori Chenaille-Schenk, who had 11 digs. Those 11 digs gave Chenaille-Schenk a new career-high.

Saranac dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Saranac Lake, their record is now 3-1.

Coincidentally, Saranac and Saranac Lake will both be playing Northern Adirondack the next time they take the court. The Spartans will host the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Red Storm will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
