Recap: Christian Fellowship vs. Liberty Christian Academy Eagles
Christian Fellowship can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 60-30 victory over Liberty Christian Academy. With that victory, Christian Fellowship brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.
Leading Christian Fellowship to victory were Ariya Barton and Brooke Grathwohl. Barton scored 16 points along with seven assists and six rebounds, while Grathwohl scored 27 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Grathwohl continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Emma Kate Bradley, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Liberty Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Lauren Moss and Anna Scheltens. Moss scored 19 points, while Scheltens scored no points. That was a full 63.3% of Liberty Christian Academy's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Christian Fellowship has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Liberty Christian Academy, their defeat ended a 13-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7.
Christian Fellowship will take on Sunnydale Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Sunnydale Academy sitting on four straight victories and Christian Fellowship on three. As for Liberty Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Bourbon at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
