Basketball Recap: Blair's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

It was a good run, but Blair unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 38-31 to the Gretna East Griffins.

Despite the loss, Blair saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Taytum Macholan posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Addie Sullivan, who earned seven points.

Blair's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Gretna East, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Hastings the next time they take the court. Blair will host Hastings at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Gretna East will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
