Softball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Central's Tenth in Last 11 Outings

Central won the last time they faced South Albany and things went their way on Friday too. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Redhawks. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won ten matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for South Albany, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Central is set to face off against their familiar foe McKay at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, South Albany will challenge rival Silverton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
