Sayreville can finally bid farewell to their 21-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They wrapped up 2024 with a 51-32 win over the Matawan Regional Huskies. The Bombers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Sayreville's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Matawan Regional, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Sayreville will take on Keansburg at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Matawan Regional, they will square off against Rahway at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Matawan Regional has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
