Softball Recap: East Buchanan Takes a Loss

East Buchanan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 17-1 to the Wapsie Valley Warriors. If the Buccaneers were looking for revenge after losing 9-1 to the Warriors when the teams met back in June of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

East Buchanan's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Wapsie Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1.

Looking ahead, East Buchanan will venture away from home to take on Springville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wapsie Valley, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-0 win against Clayton-Ridge on the 7th.
