After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Jalen Reese to
Robert Jones in the second quarter, the Tygers were up 10-0 at the half.
Mansfield Senior expanded its lead to 17 points entering the fourth quarter. MS scored once in the quarter on a Reese touchdown pass to Jones.
Reese and Jones teamed up to form a dynamic passing combination. Jones caught three touchdowns and Reese threw three. Jones has now caught three touchdowns this season, while Reese has thrown 21.
The Mansfield school had given up an average of 14.0 points prior to the contest.
The defeat comes as a step back for Licking Heights, who notched a 21-7 victory over Johnstown-Monroe in its previous outing. The loss broke Licking Heights' two-game winning streak.
