Baseball Game Preview: Albert Gallatin Colonials vs. Ringgold Rams

Albert Gallatin hasn't had much luck against Ringgold recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Colonials will square off against the Rams at 4:00 p.m. Ringgold took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Albert Gallatin, who comes in off a win.

While Albert Gallatin's win against Uniontown wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Colonials won by a run and slipped past the Red Raiders 4-3. Surprisingly, this marked the fifth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Albert Gallatin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Weakland, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Another was Jake Bellish, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Ringgold was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-2 to Trinity.

The victory got Albert Gallatin back to even at 3-3. As for Ringgold, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Albert Gallatin couldn't quite finish off Ringgold in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 and fell 8-6. Can the Colonials avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
