Volleyball Game Preview: Eagleville Eagles vs. Gordonsville Tigers

Eagleville's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Campbell Leathers, who hit 79.3% for 24 kills and eight digs and one assist, and Presley Knowles, who had 20 digs and two aces. Leathers is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had seven or more in each of the last 24 games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Eagleville was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Gordonsville was able to grind out a solid victory over Summertown on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1.

Eagleville's record now sits at 42-5. As for Gordonsville, their record is now 25-1.
