Basketball Preview: Boyertown Bears vs. Methacton Warriors
Boyertown hasn't had much luck against Methacton recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Boyertown Bears will head out to take on the Methacton Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Boyertown took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They came out on top against Fleetwood by a score of 44-35.

Boyertown got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cooper Rath out in front who went 6 for 15 on his way to 17 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave Rath a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keeshawn Copeland, who posted 11 points and five assists.
Boyertown smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Methacton). In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 65-64 win over Hazleton Area.
Boyertown's record now sits at 2-4. As for Methacton, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-3.
