Baseball Preview: Boiling Springs Bubblers vs. Big Spring Bulldogs        
        
		
            
 The Boiling Springs Bubblers will head out on the road to  face off against  the Big Spring Bulldogs at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
 Boiling Springs scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Wednesday. They blew past James Buchanan 15-5. The  win was just what Boiling Springs needed coming off of  a  9-2 defeat in their prior  matchup.
  Mason LaBuda and  Jonah Richardson were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing,  LaBuda   didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Meanwhile,  Richardson   tossed  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks). LaBuda has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. At bat,  LaBuda  scored two  runs while going 4-for-4, while  Richardson  went 2-for-3 with a  home run.
 In other batting news,  Josh Snyder was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, five  RBI,  and three  runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Landon McMahon, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-5.
 Meanwhile, Big Spring waltzed into their match  on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Indians onto the board and left with  a   10-0  victory. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest  win Big Spring has managed all season.
 Boiling Springs now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Big Spring, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
 Boiling Springs beat Big Spring 8-3  in their previous meeting  back in May of 2023. Will Boiling Springs repeat their success,  or does  Big Spring have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
