Basketball Recap: Manor Takes a Loss

Manor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Highlands Owls. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly four points.

Despite the loss, Manor still got an impressive performance from Majer Hunt, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards. Hunt is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 56% in the last four games he's played. Landon Osisiogu was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

Manor now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Highlands, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Manor has already played their next contest, a 66-60 loss against Harlingen South on the 5th. As for Highlands, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-36 victory against Southwest on the 5th.
