Soccer Recap: Walled Lake Northern Takes a Loss

Walled Lake Northern was the 5-0 winner over Mott when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell just short of the Corsairs by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

Walled Lake Northern's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1-2 and their overall record down to 5-3-2. As for Mott, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0-3.

Coming up, Walled Lake Northern will square off against Cranbrook Kingswood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Walled Lake Northern are facing Cranbrook Kingswood at the right time seeing as Cranbrook Kingswood are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Mott, they will face off against South Lyon East at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
