Basketball Recap: Compass Academy Victorious

There's no place like home for Compass Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 55-54 victory over Non Varsity Opponent. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-46 last Friday.

Compass Academy pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Compass Academy will challenge Fort Stockton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they and New York School for the Deaf will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Non Varsity Opponent is facing New York School for the Deaf at the right time seeing as New York School for the Deaf is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
