Wood River faced Jerome in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Wolverines put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 4-1 win. The result was nothing new for Wood River, who have now won 11 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Jerome with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alberto Romo (2), Reidar Slotten, and Hayden Gvozdas.

Wood River pushed their record up to 12-1-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Jerome, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3-3.
