Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Joseph). Everything went their way against the Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds on Monday as they made off with a 22-2 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Travis Jackson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two).

In other batting news, George Heer was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.
