Basketball Recap: Tucumcari Takes a Loss

Tucumcari was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 63-54 to the Pecos Panthers. If the Rattlers were looking for revenge after losing 69-41 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Tucumcari's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Pecos, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8.

When Tucumcari and Pecos next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Tucumcari will face off against Santa Rosa and their ten-game winning streak at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Pecos will try to stop Raton's three-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
