Holy Spirit won the last time they faced Lower Cape May and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Tigers. Considering the Spartans have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Chase Rubenstein spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
