Basketball Recap: Orme Takes a Loss

Orme was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 33-28 heartbreaker at the hands of the BASIS - Prescott Coyote. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Coyote earlier this season, when they won 36-32.

BASIS - Prescott's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Raj Tung, who posted 13 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Abner Chang, who earned six points and three steals.

Orme's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for BASIS - Prescott, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-10.

Orme will welcome American Heritage Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in American Heritage Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. BASIS - Prescott has already played their next game (against Verde Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
