Game recap: McLean High School Football Team tops Herndon

HERNDON, Va. - After three lead changes, McLean (Va.) took the lead for good when they scored a touchdown with 4:00 to go in the first quarter and held on to defeat Herndon (Va.) 42-27 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter, the Highlanders led 29-20 at the half.

McLean grew its lead to 22 points entering the fourth quarter. MHS scored two times in the third, including once on a Gabriel Sutherland touchdown run.
