It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Marathon can now relate to. They came up short against the Miami Country Day Spartans on Monday, falling 15-5. The Dolphins' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Sara Robinson was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Elena Eubank, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Marathon's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Miami Country Day, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-5.

Coming up, Marathon will take on Somerset Academy South Homestead at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Miami Country Day, they will challenge Miami Springs at 4:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
