Basketball Game Preview: Lake Fenton Blue Devils vs. Goodrich Martians

Last Tuesday, Lake Fenton beat Owosso 68-59. Given the Blue Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 256th, while the Trojans are ranked 551st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Goodrich entered their tilt with Brandon on Tuesday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They claimed a resounding 81-37 win over the Blackhawks. The Martians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 26 points or more this season.

Goodrich is also on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points per game. As for Lake Fenton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.
