Baseball Recap: Murray Takes a Loss

Murray lost to Juan Diego Catholic on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Spartans lost 12-2 to the Soaring Eagle. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Murray saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Lunt, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Murray's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Juan Diego Catholic, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Murray is set to face off against their familiar foe Judge Memorial Catholic at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Juan Diego Catholic will square off against rival East at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
