Basketball Game Preview: Lawrence North Wildcats vs. Warsaw Tigers

Two dominant guards in Kya Hurt and Joslyn Bricker are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats challenge the Tigers at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday. Lawrence North will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Lawrence North is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They beat Pike by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 45-44.

Meanwhile, Warsaw faced Hamilton Southeastern in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Warsaw secured a 67-61 W over Hamilton Southeastern. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Warsaw's win came from a few key players Lawrence North will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Brooke Zartman, who en route to 25 points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Brooke Winchester, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards.

Lawrence North's record is now 19-8. As for Warsaw, their record now sits at 26-1.
