Volleyball Recap: Williamstown Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

With a playoff win on the line, Williamstown rose to the challenge on Monday. They skirted past the Tyler Knights 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Yellowjackets: when they faced off against the Knights last Tuesday, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Williamstown had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 23-25, 25-21, 25-20, 15-11.

Williamstown's win ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 13-18-3. As for Tyler, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 24-12.

Coming up, Williamstown will face off against Oak Glen at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tyler does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
