Recap: Northern Lebanon Vikings vs. Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers

The Northern Lebanon Vikings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Lampeter-Strasburg 57-26. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Northern Lebanon has scored all season.

Leading Lampeter-Strasburg to victory were Chase Smucker and Justin Glick. Smucker scored 18 points along with four steals, while Glick scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Yasin Abdi, who scored six points along with five assists and two steals.

Northern Lebanon has not been sharp recently as the team has lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Lampeter-Strasburg, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Cocalico the next time they take the court. Lampeter-Strasburg will host Cocalico at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Northern Lebanon will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
