Softball Recap: Design Tech Drops Season-High Score on Hill

Design Tech scored the most runs they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Hill Falcons by a score of 18-17. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (15), the Dragons still had to take the loss.

Ella Lewis was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, three runs, and one triple. She has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Jeneva Fletcher was another key player, scoring four runs while going 3-for-4.

With the loss, Design Tech broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-4. As for Hill, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.

Coming up, Design Tech will be playing in front of their home fans against Harker at 3:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Hill, they will challenge San Jose at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
