Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Xavier). Everything went their way against the Iowa City West Trojans on Monday as they made off with a 16-4 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Saints considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Xavier's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-6. As for Iowa City West, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.

Xavier wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Wahlert on the 10th. As for Iowa City West, they are taking a road trip to challenge Kennedy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
