Volleyball Recap: Crystal Lake South Takes a Loss

Crystal Lake South lost against Huntley back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Gators took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Raiders.

Crystal Lake South was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Huntley work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-17.

Sophia Tocmo was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 13 digs and two assists. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

Crystal Lake South now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Huntley, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Looking ahead, Crystal Lake South will take on Lake Park at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Huntley, they will square off against Wahlert at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
