Baseball Recap: Traverse City Central Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Traverse City Central's offense. They lost 10-0 to Fruitport on Friday. If Traverse City Central was looking for revenge after losing 10-4 to Fruitport when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Traverse City Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Fruitport, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Traverse City Central will welcome Midland at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Fruitport, they will be playing at home against Calvin Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
