Soccer Recap: Ellensburg Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Ellensburg and Ephrata, and Ephrata kept the tradition alive. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Ellensburg were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ephrata apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Ellensburg now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Ephrata, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2-1.

Coming up, Ellensburg will be playing at home against Quincy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ephrata, they will square off against Moses Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
