Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodland). They put the hurt on the Randolph County Tigers with a sharp 13-3 victory on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Bradley Brasher was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two).

In other batting news, Woodland let Nate Herren and Cade Cross run wild. Herren scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3, while Cross scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Cross a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Garrett Hendrix, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Woodland was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Randolph County only posted a batting average of .200.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-10. As for Randolph County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Coming up, Woodland will head out on the road to take on Wadley at 6:30 p.m. on March 25th. As for Randolph County, they have already played their next game, a 12-2 loss against Reeltown on the 20th.
