Volleyball Recap: Northern Michigan Christian Comes Up Short

Northern Michigan Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Frankfort Panthers. The Comets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

While Northern Michigan Christian ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-17.

Northern Michigan Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Frankfort, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9-1 record this season.

Northern Michigan Christian is taking a road trip to square off against Beal City at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Frankfort has already played their next contest (against Bear Lake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
