Softball Recap: Pulaski Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Pulaski proved they can win big on Monday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Manitowoc Lincoln Ships 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Red Raiders have posted since May 11, 2024.

Kamrie Dorn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on one hit and racked up 15 Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kianna Altendorf, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Pulaski's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9. As for Manitowoc Lincoln, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.

As for Manitowoc Lincoln, they will head out to square off against Green Bay Preble at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets' pitching crew has only allowed 0.8 runs per game this season, so the Ships' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
