Legacy Christian Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against North, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Legacy Christian Academy Lions blew past the North Stars 15-5 on Saturday. The Lions' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Caden Nunez was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Nunez was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Nunez is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's stole at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

In other batting news, Lucas Highfill was a standout: he scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Legacy Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .524. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Legacy Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
