Central's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Pilgrim Patriots by a score of 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won five in a row.

Central's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Pilgrim, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coming up, Pilgrim will head out on the road to face off against Portsmouth at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Portsmouth will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Pilgrim surely won't give up without a fight. Central will be paying especially close attention to the Patriots' contest: after the Patriots faces off against the Patriots, they'll take on Central again at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
