Softball Recap: Loveland Tigers vs. West Clermont Wolves
Loveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Clermont Wolves. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolves earlier this season, when they won 11-5.
Loveland saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ruby Biggers, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that Biggers has hit this season. Another was Payton Brown, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Loveland's record is now 5-7. As for West Clermont, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.
Loveland will venture away from home to face off against Beavercreek at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
