Los Angeles has gone a perfect 7-0 against Manual Arts recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Romans will face off against the Toilers at 4:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Wednesday, Los Angeles made easy work of West Adams and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Romans in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won eight in a row.

Los Angeles walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Manual Arts got the win against Santee on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21, 25-8.

Manual Arts' win came from a few key players Los Angeles will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Alejando Mejia, who hit 88.9% for 17 kills and ten digs, four aces, and two blocks. Those 88.9% hitting percentage gave him a new career-high.

Manual Arts couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 82% of their attack attempts. That's the best hitting percentage they've posted all season.

Los Angeles' record is now 10-12. As for Manual Arts, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.

Los Angeles took their victory against Manual Arts in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Romans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
