Softball Recap: Reno Takes a Loss

Reno lost against Chico back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Reno came up short against Chico, falling 9-1. The loss leaves the Huskies still looking for their first win of the season.

Reno's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13-1. As for Chico, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Reno will face off against Dayton at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chico, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Chico Panthers challenge Douglas Tigers at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Their pitchers better be ready for this one: Douglas has averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
