Preview: Craftsbury Academy Chargers vs. Williamstown Blue Devils
Craftsbury Academy is 0-3 against the Blue Devils since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Craftsbury Academy Chargers' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Williamstown Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
Last Friday, Craftsbury Academy ended up a good deal behind the Raiders and lost 58-42.
Meanwhile, Williamstown didn't have too much trouble with the Bullets at home on Wednesday as they won 54-37.
Evan Bailey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with seven steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Williamstown's points. Another player making a difference was Colby Laggner, who scored six points along with 15 rebounds.
Craftsbury Academy dropped their record down to 1-9 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Williamstown, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
Craftsbury Academy was taken down by the Blue Devils 70-29 in their previous meeting back in January of 2020. Can Craftsbury Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
