Softball Recap: Pacheco Takes a Loss

If Pacheco was riding high fresh off their 10-3 takedown of Riverbank on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pacheco Panthers came up short against the Atwater Falcons on Saturday, falling 17-2. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Pacheco saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Chavez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Pacheco's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Atwater, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers face off against the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Atwater, they will take on Le Grand at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Atwater will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
