Basketball Recap: Hayden Tong's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Hillsboro Christian Academy over Adams County Christian

Hillsboro Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 46-30 fall against the Adams County Christian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-54 back in December of 2024.

Hillsboro Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hayden Tong, who posted 11 points.

Hillsboro Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Adams County Christian, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Hillsboro Christian Academy will host Cincinnati at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up.
