The Lakeside Lutheran Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Lake Country Lutheran Lightning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakeside Lutheran is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.1 points per game this season.

Lakeside Lutheran is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 53-32 margin over Campbellsport. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th in Wisconsin, while the Cougars are ranked 350th in Wisconsin), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lakeside Lutheran's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Farah Stuebs, who went 7-for-13 en route to 14 points and eight rebounds. Paige Murphy was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 12 boards.

Meanwhile, Lake Country Lutheran waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Mariners 88-30. The Lightning have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Lake Country Lutheran pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points over those games. As for Lakeside Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Lakeside Lutheran came up short against Lake Country Lutheran in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 46-40. Can Lakeside Lutheran avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
