Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dundalk). They strolled past the Franklin Indians with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 56-42. This was payback for the Owls, who suffered a 51-40 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Jamie Maney continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 30 points in addition to six boards and six steals. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Lanaya Valentine, who posted eight points.

Dundalk now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Franklin, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Dundalk Owls take on the Owings Mills Golden Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Dundalk is facing Owings Mills at the right time seeing as Owings Mills is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Franklin, they will take on Chesapeake at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
