After a string of three wins, Oakland Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Inter-City Baptist Chargers. If the Lancers were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Chargers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-16, 20-25, 25-20, 25-22.

Oakland Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-5-4. As for Inter-City Baptist, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Coming up, Oakland Christian will challenge Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Inter-City Baptist, they will take on Lutheran at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
